Any tips for text?

Firstly, I'll let you know what I'm doing - I'm trying my hand at repainting the FS KBT F/A-18E in VFA-143 Pukin' Dogs colours...

Trouble is, no matter what I do with Paint Shop Pro 9 or Photoshop CS2, the text always appears "fuzzy" in FS2004. The same thing has happened with the stripes on the forward fuselage yet the tails look perfect! Sad

Anyone any tips for how to avoid this?

Are you saving your texture files with DXTbmp? If so, uncheck "MipMaps" on the side panel in DXTbmp.
