Is liquid cooling good ?

As you may know I mentioned earlier on that my PC was making funny noises. So I decided to look at a new PC and seen as it may be the fan making the annoying sound, I decided never really want a PC with a fan again. So i been think along the lines of getting a PC with liquid colling capabilities.

My question is, what are the downsides of this liquid cooling?

i just got 2 new fans fitted, cost me £8 and £12 + fitting - my pc now runs at around 45degrees c when running flight sim and photoshop. superb!
