anyone know how to add virtual cockpits to planes? (if its possible)

Negative. The VC is part of the .mdl file -- cannot be edited.

I have never seen .mdl-files for download as such.

If you have a particular aircraft in mind, you can almost always find an alternative download that includes a VC (as in cockpit). VC is used very loosely, sometimes meaning Virtual Cockpit, sometimes Virtual Cabin.

You really have to focus on one aircraft and then practically look everywhere and see if there is one with VC or VC Wall Bashing available.

If you want to model a/c yourself, it gets very involved but it can be done and the tools are freely available.

I'm worried about you brownbox, I can feel a Burnout coming on.

well i guess ill make do with the one plane i have a cabin for (777-200 singapore airlines) until i find something.... must keep looking for models with vc 🤔
