ch anologue pedals

ok this is what i got, logitech anologue joystick(had it for ages) plugged into a usb converter, works great!
but now i got anologue CH pedals second hand, what do i need to make them work ok. Do i need another usb converter,(running out of usb ports, might need a hub too!) and will fs2004 recognise this configuration?
got them plugged into the wiring of the pedals at the moment and it only works when i'm on the ground! how wierd.
Any help greatly apprieciated.
