Finally got a new computer

I just got my new computer today.
It's a:
Compaq Presario PC
3.06GHz Processor
512MB PC3200 DDR SDRAM
100GB Hard Drive
ATI Radeon Graphics Express
17" Flat Screen Monitor
HP Deskjet 5440
Got it for $300USD. Normally $620USD. I lucked out.

Excellent price for that equipment. If you just bought XP (OEM) it would be $89US.

CD or DVD player or burner?

I hope you can bump up the ram to about 2 gigs.

CD & DVD Player. Can burn CD's. Haven't read the manual yet, so I am not sure if I can burm dvd's.

I think that if its a CD/DVD player and it can burns CDs it will burn DVDs too.

I agree with RadarMan about the RAM. Wink

I found out that I only can burn CD's. Dang was hoping that I could burn some DVD's.

DVD burner's are quite cheap these day' anyway.
