Hey,
I was thinking that http://flyawaysimulation.com/ should have its own custom airline or livery free for all members to download. I would certainly download this fleet. It would be good for people on multiplayer to show off that they are a member of the webs top flightsim website.
What do you think? |

It sounds good as an idea but i think that because of the fact that it needs lot of work in order to be reality i think that it will remain an idea... |

I understand where you are coming from and I think there are probably some skilled members (not me) who could paint aircraft reasonably well. |

Good idea. I can paint aircraft, but I am terrible at coming up with ideas. If someone can come up with some ideas, I'll paint a 737 or similar. |

A basic drawing would work, or even describing which graphics and where they should be...
For what it's worth, here are my repaints, all pretty boring... |

How about a nice shiny grey coat covering the fuselage and wings etc, with 'FLY AWAY' written on the front portion of the fuselage, using the same font as on this site etc. You could do a thin matt black line around the center of the fuselage (not too thick) just to break it up a bit and make it a bit more interesting.
Then a logo could be made (maybe just the letters 'FA' made into a nice logo) to put on the vertical stabiliser.
Just some ideas Click below to support FSF:

Nice idea! And we could put someone's name on the front (eg Radarman) to honour their loyalty to the site. I think the first aircraft should be an A380 or something else big. |

I will try my hand at painting up a 737 or A320 in FlyAway colors. It should be done in a few days.. I'll have pictures posted, and shortly after a download link. Ryan Finn

I will paint an A318 first, and see if you guys like the livery. I will make changes based upon your opinions.
Aircraft that I might paint:
IFDG A318
IFDG A321 DONE
Kittyhawk 738
POSKY CRJ-200LR DONE "Man is not free unless government is limited." -Ronald Reagan

maybe put a Bald Eagle carrying and American flag and one carrying a British Flag since Ive noticed most people here are either American or from the UK.
but maybe use a B767-400 for a Repaint aircraft "To Protect Life And Property"

I decided to start with an iFDG A320, which i believe is a superb freeware model
then, depending on how the first one comes out, I will move to either the POSKY 737-800 or the POSKY 767-300 (or possibly the -400 series)
....or maybe even a smaller approach with a CRJ-200 or -900 (POSKY, of course)
..let me know what you'd like to see after the A320 Ryan Finn

Instead of doing the A318, I decided to do the IFDG A321. I am almost done. Will upload pics later today. "Man is not free unless government is limited." -Ronald Reagan |

Well I finished the A320 I was talking about before, and I must say it is definitely one of my better repaints! It came out pretty nice. =D
...it won't be available for download for another day or two, but I posted some screenshots on another thread. go here:
