Anyone know of a freeware Falcon 50 for FS2004? I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father did, not screaming and terrified like his passengers. |

I don't know what type of Falcon your looking for, these are all different aircraft.
You can just feed "Falcon" into their File Library search engine after you bring up "2004 Aircraft" in their second window.
c1falcon.zip, fc7x-moz.zip, usviper.zip , falc9-04.zip at http://www.avsim.com/
This is one of the best you can find, if it's the right Falcon. I just downloaded a Sabre jet from there, I was thinking of one the other day.

Radarman, what I'm looking for is the Dassault Falcon 50, as seen at, only for FS2004. None of the avsim files were it, and the pmstone link isn't working (temporarily?). Thanks for looking. I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father did, not screaming and terrified like his passengers. |

Wow. I looked at that fc7x-moz.zip on avsim without really looking I guess. It doesn't SAY that it's the Falcon 50, but it sure looks like it. The fsplanet link looks good too. I'll try to get one of them downloaded tonight and give it a try. Thanks RadarMan - you came through again. I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father did, not screaming and terrified like his passengers. |

Okay, downloaded the fc7x-moz.zip from avsim. Nice plane. The panels take a bit of getting used to, but it flies really well, has a range of over 5000 miles, a ceiling of about FL450, and can land on a dime if you're not too heavy. Handles well on the ground too, which many don't. I recommend it. I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father did, not screaming and terrified like his passengers. |

Hey, I'm glad that we found a good one. I took a look a few hours ago in http://www.flightsim.com and I didn't see a thing.
I guess that's the only one outside of possible payware that's any good.

I loaded it myself, it handles very well. I'm a tail dragger and jets aren't my "thing" but it landed a little hard, I flew a Sabre Jet this morning and it landed better.
I had a problem with a gauge" MC-Door", I think it was, so I deleted it and there didn't seem to be a problem after that.
I can see how you are going to enjoy it.

Yeah, I had that same MC-Door gauge problem, and solved it the same way you did. Also found that, at high altitudes, while the AP holds the altitude right on, the digital altimeter in the middle of the panel drifts all over the place. I'm talking 2-3K feet. At low altitudes, it's fine. Strange. I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father did, not screaming and terrified like his passengers. |

I took a few screen shots too last night at FL390 enroute from Budapest to Mikonos, Greece. Seems like a good opportunity for me to figure out how to post screen shots. I'll give it a shot (pun intended) tonight. I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father did, not screaming and terrified like his passengers. |

Incidently, I eventually figured out that this is not the Falcon 50, which I was looking for, but the Falcon 2000. It appears to be beefed up over the 50. For instance, I believe I read that the 50 had a range of something over 3000 nm, whereas the 2000 has a 5000 nm range. Must have bigger tanks. Don't know what else is different. Think I'll still try to get the one from fsplanet. When I tried last night, I was unable to get to the download. I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father did, not screaming and terrified like his passengers. |

I trust your screens came out better than mine. It's not a very photogenic aircraft, sort of a dull mustard-gold.

Still better looking than that Rilo Commercial Transport thing that you found. I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father did, not screaming and terrified like his passengers. |

Aloha Arkydave, From looking at the screenshot that Radar took,it looks like he may have left off his Reflection Button,it seems that a few do not like the paint job on my Transporter but they don't have their Reflections turned on! It makes the colors completely change,if you don't like the model thats fine,as I can't please everyone. BUT to everyone that reads this,PLEASE turn on your REFLECTIONS so you can see all the planes as they were meant to be seen,if you already know this please disregard. What type of Craft do you Prefer? My next project will be a single seat jet plane with more Basic colors. Ric |

Sorry Ric. I didn't mean to be so critical of your aircraft. More than anything, I was poking fun at RadarMan. I've been to your website and looked over your work, and was moved by the innovation I found there. And I'm sure you're right about RadarMan's reflections being turned off. I noticed that on his screenshots of the Falcon aircraft that we've been discussing in this thread. I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father did, not screaming and terrified like his passengers. |

No Problem! I don't mind critisism as long as it is done with no malice, and you have shown that Manners still live in the Mid-west,Thank You, Ric |
