Monitor Problems

I just bought a 19" LCD 16:9 and all I get is a blank screen when the 2004 FS is loaded, all I get is the curser, and I can mover the curser just as if the I was in the main menu, but its nothing but a blank screen and it looks like its running in 4:3, when I switch to my desktop I get the main menu for the FS 2004 for a second and its gone, it that the game is running in my windows task manager. Help! :(

I never had an LCD but since you said you just bought it they must have given you a disk of drivers for it.
Try reloading them.
Make sure they are for XP and don't run it at a high resolution, start at 800x600.
