Not really a "Bug or Error" but more a personal prefrence question.

What I would like to know, is is there any way to automatically make the most recent screenshots automatically appear in the FS2004 Gallery when I click the link to it?

At the moment, when ever I click the link to open it, it displays the most popular images first, and I have to click on the date added line to change it.

Nothing important really- just wondering

Right, I always click on Date "D" and that takes me to the latest screenshots.

Good luck with it Whistle

The post was started in 2004 with Flyaway's reply, resurrected by Horrgakx in 2005, and then re-resurrected by Horrgakx again, in 2006.

I am not certain if the software running this site has provision for changing the defaults on this, or for giving the user a way to permanently change the display preferences.

Problems like this exist because of the attitudes of sofware developers. Those attitudes are:

1. I am always right.
2. It's my way or the highway.
3. End-users are of no importance.
4. How dare your criticize me!

It doesn't matter if it is forum software, gallery software or FS scenery. They see the world in their own way.

Hey, I develop software Smile

Having done this for a while now I am of the conclusion that no-one can be right in software development and usually assume I am wrong.

I do agree though what you have said is extremely common - especially in forum software development in my experience.
