Adverts

Hi guys,

Like most of us, ive paid for my membership here. It is a really good site with really good people on here but I dont need advertisements through to the email where ive paid for this! If I wanted to buy something, I would click on one of the many banners or links on here!
On the email there was no link to remove me from the advertisement list nor was there a message to say "Change you personal settings if you dont want to be included".
I dont mean to be horrible but the next time I receive one of these I will report it as spam.
I am a major shareholder of one of the biggest websites in Europe and we would never dream of doing anything like this. Banners and links are one thing but this is border-line spam!
Flyaway, I have paid for this membership which I enjoy, I have not paid to receive spam, please sort it out.

Well ive had a few now. The one I got tonight was about 737 pilot in command.

I just checked and the last e-mail I received from here was in May.
I don't doubt that you have a new one, why not e-mail Flyaway and let him know that t you don't wish to get them any longer.

Doyley, I assume your talking about the reivew TTT done about the PIC 737 boeing. If yes the I recieved two (2) emails today about them. the first recieved at 16:44 BST (British Summer Time) then the scound was recieved at 17:38 BST.

There was no where you can opt out of recieving this kinds of emails. Which I think is wrong.

The email I got was sent 25-Jun-2006 19:10 (BST). It was the review.

I should have emailed this to be fair I just get pretty annoyed when I get these seeing as though the site is full of adverts and I paid for my membership.

Thanks for moving it radarman, I forget that the other is the general discussion as thats the one I have saved in my favourites. I will bear it in mind in future.
