Very Happy Most d/loads come with a read me file, have a look in there for anything special
As a rule though if you d/load a plane (make sure its not just a repaint) you unzip it an put it in the aircraft folder
(it sould look something like this --lets say a 737)

After unzipping you open the folder and see 4 other folders=Model,Panel,Texture and sound(you may see a few text files and jpegs......dont worry about them)
Just put the main 737 folder into the aircraft folder of fs8 and then start up the sim and it should show(if not try the aircraft editor which comes with fs8)

Good luck and enjoy
If you get stuck someone will allways help

Very Happy Fs2000 was great ...........at the time but really shows its age now but was far more advanced than the first flight sims Arrow

See what I mean Wink

Yes there is a aircraft editor in 2002 which can be tricky to find
On your desk top click start /all programs/microsoft games/fs2002......and it should come up as an option

You could create a shortcut for your desktop

Enjoy

The biggest differances are Scenery, weather and atc
Again you need a mid to high spec pc to get the most out of it
