For the past 8 hours, I have been seeing a dramatic slowdown in the time it takes to display a page in the forums. The average time is 28 seconds. Considering that I have 6 Mb broadband, this seems unusual.

If no one else is seeing this, I will assume that I'm be punished for complaining about the spam in the forums. Rolling Eyes

If I had to guess, I would say that the MySQL server that the php-nuke software uses, has max'd out its CPU, RAM or I/O.

While that suggests a problem on the internet such as a router being down, I am still going to stick with my original guess because while the top frame appears quickly, the rest of the page takes forever. Of course, my browser may be grabbing the top frame from its cache.
