also does it matter what type of monitor you use if you lik them together i want to use two monitors one for the gps

can i link up two comp screens so i see what i usally see on 1 screen but on the other the gps? Also i want to no if it can be an old windows 95 monitor hooking up to an HP vs17

That shlould work. You'll need a video card with dual output or a splitter. That you can choose what goes on the 2nd screen.
