Very interesting
I found this last line a little worrying
But so far, Windows XP is the main OS for gaming platforms and will remain such for quite a long while yet. |

I think they (MS) feel that most will not spend the money on Vista because of the huge hardware upgrade costs.
I think they are wrong. Hard core gamers will spend what it takes to "play" full out.

Have any of you actually seen the artist impression of how it will change FSX?
Thanks for the great link RM, I'll look into it. |

Well I must say, some nice finds there, really good read. I must agree with what I have read, as my first install of Vista was a complete wash out, reading that lot, I find my error was probably installing 64 bit version. Have recently had another bite of the forbidden fruit, and installed the 32 bit, different story, works much better, but not with out problems. I now wait for the postman to bring my copy of RC1.
I have been told to try installing as a virtual PC, so must get a bit more info on that, and maybe try it that way. TTFN - Ken.
Danger! Part time mind at work!

If you have d/loaded the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor in the past, then I ask you to run it again. Its been updated and gives compatability problems of programs as well as hardware.
It also tells you which version is most compatable with your current system
If you still have the older version just run it and it will update to the newer.Link to the upgrade page
