I HAVE JUST BEEN FLYING THE NEW HORIZONS VFR DEMO AND AM AMAZED AT THE GRAPHICS. NOT ONLY THAT BUT MY AVERAGE FRAME RATE INCREASED TO AN AVERAGE 25- 30 FPS. COMPARE THAT TO MY AVERAGE OF 12 FPS USING THE NORMAL SCENERY.

If you have not tried the demo out it's incredible. It covers the North west of wales but I certainly cant wait for the full versions. Finally FSX is actually fun to fly now with smooth frame rates and incredible graphics.

I was going to post some images but I cant find the screen shot folder, Any one help with that one!!!!

Unfortunately I can't work out how to upload the pictures from my computer, but maybe if somebody else has a look at the demo they could do it.

I would be interested to hear from anyone else gaining FPS from using the VFR scenery like I did.

UM, Seems like I've started something here, I apologise if I have broken any rules, (Slap me now). I was only merely trying to help others, especially towards the frame rate as this scenery has added 10 to 15 more fps to my game.

I will however keep my mouth shut in future but it was with good intent.

Ok now I 'VE had my say, I'm going back to fly over those beautful mountains and lakes in North wales.........................
