Hello fellow flyers. I got FS-X and have been checking it out for the last few days. Sorry to read so many of you having problems (locking up, freezing & so on) I have a Gateway PC running Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 (build 2600) with 2.00 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4, 8 kilobyte primary memory cache, 512 kilobyte secondary memory cache. 1024 Megabytes Installed Memory, Slot 'J6G1' has 512 MB, Slot 'J6G2' has 512 MB. I am using an ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 8500DV [Display adapter] with a Gateway FPD1830 [Monitor] (18.2 "vis), Now with the information I have given do I need a new p.c? The reason being, when I fly into an airport, the runway is in the air, if in a chopper I can land on the runway or hover to the edge of the runway and decend down to the ground. ( Look @ the top of a desk, go to the edge & look @ the floor) is my example. While on the ground I can Look up and see the runway and towers above me. Also when in a jet and taxiing to the buildings I as of yet seen a gateway come up to the aircraft as stated in the commercial on TV. One other thing, in F-2004 an option was, being able to have a tool bar to the top of your monitor, (it had exit, options) and so on. Can I have that or activate that in FS-X? Oh one more thing, in FS-2004 I was able to revue my flight, I could play it back and look at it just as it looked when I flew the craft. So far all I am able to do is view a chart. Thanks for taking the time to read all this, and I hope you might have a few answers to my questions. Keep Flying!

Download new video drivers to the desktop.
Go to control panel, delete in remove ATi in add and install new software.
Clean out the old drivers.
Reboot.
Shut off your anti-virus.
Load new drivers, if you can do it in safe mode.
Reboot, set 4AA and 16AF in cards control panel.
In the sim, set mip-map to 4 or 5 and do not check the AA box in settings.

As for the tool bar, "Alt'" should do it.
Download and print out the keyboard commands.
