There is this thing on the back, some call it a vertical stabilizer...others call it a rudder. It's used to control yaw....as well as reducing the affects of wind sheer.

Yeah, its called a rudder, learn how to use it.

And where was the wind shear? Never heard of one on a clear day.

The vertical stabilizer and the rudder are two different parts. Those who get the two mixed up better not pilot the aircraft that I'm a passenger on. Shocked

Nice misinformation.

The vertical stabilizer or fin of an aircraft is found on its tail, generally pointing straight upward. It is also known as the vertical tail, and is part of an aircraft's empennage. The trailing end of the stabilizer is typically movable, and called the rudder; this allows the aircraft to yaw.

Windsheer was there because I was playing about with the custom weather settings.
I was trying to use the rudder but I dont have the rudder pedals and I guess I left num lock on.
