alot factors put together gave me this conclusion: I just hold on to my 2004
for another 2 years until the next version is released, that is when my 3
GHz machine will be in trash. I have spent too much effort as well as money
into 2004, only the addons would cost hundreds of dollars, my current FS9
has been configured to a maximum state at 20+ frames per second even at the
busiest airports. With all the addons FSX is no match to my FS9. You may say
all the addons will be upgraded to fit FSX, yeah, your right! by the time
all addons are upgraded (some will charge a dear fee) FS11 will be right on
the corner, then you will chase your own shaddow do the cycle again. I just
decided to skip a cycle, and enjoy my refined FS9 for another 2 years.....
I am sure some FSX diehards will be offended by what I am posting here, I apologize in advance..... |

Don't apologize it's the way you feel, it's your right and you did it politely unlike many others here lately.

I'm certainly not offended. If FSX doesn't perform well on you computer and you want to hold onto your computer for a while, your plan makes perfect sense. CrashGordon

again, no offense possible, no one can critisize your view.
I had a similar thought myself. However, then i actually found myself buying fsx and i have to say im hooked, the realism is so much higher in my opinion.
Prior to FSX, because of family commitments, flying was lower down on my list of priorities, however, it has now been fully rekindled and taken to a new level.
Just thought i would share!
(almost sounds like a comment from an AA meeting!!)
