What is the equivalent "Event" called and Key Board setting in FSX to the View Command "Panel On/Off" event and "W" keyboard setting in FS 2004 please?

I am frustrated because I cannot get rid of the Cockpit Instrument panel for a clear view ahead when flying in FSX. Keyboard "W" has no action in my FSX.

Something is wrong then. W has the same effect in FSX that it did in FS2004. You are using the 2D cockpit, not the 3D, aren't you?
