Hello everyone,

My home airport is Chandler Field (KAXN) in Alexandria, MN. I was wondering if someone could get me some screenshots from there on FSX so I can compare it to KAXN on my FS9 game.

Thanks

PS:

( Core 2 Duo 6700, OC to 2.9 Ghz ~ 1 Geforce 7950 gx2 OC'ed ~ 2 gigs ram ~ 360 MB HD ) With those settings I was getting a smooth 20 FPS average - settings mostly maxed.

Thank you!! In real life, we get a ton of fisherman, ya.

That lake right in front of rwy 13 (Lake Winona) is my lake. I love seeing all the planes fy over.

Thank you sooooo much!!!!

I'm debating whether to get FSX or just keep FS9.

Do the graphics on your screenshots only work on fast computers? I guess mine is semi-fast.

Yeah, that looks like an exciting approach!

Well I think FSX is worth the money, but im saying that after buying a new computer. My old one, P4 3 Ghz , 512 MB Ram, AGP ATI Radeon 1600 PRO 512 MB ,160 HD...yada yada... stood no chance. Heres the best I could do with that rig...I could go higher, but FPS would drop into single digits.

As you can see, junk. And FS9 is by far better than FSX with these settings, (basically Low) considering all im seeing an improvement on so far is really just graphics. yeah some new planes and glass cockpit, but the planes are no better than addons, and the glass cockpit and G1000 in my opinion are not that cool. In real life, yes, In this sim, no.

So if you got a computer that can handle it, its well worth the money and very fun. Otherwise, I'd just stick to FS9 - it will be much more enjoyable!

Plus, I have alot of cool addons for FS9, so I'll probably stay with FS9.
