missions problems...please help!

I have a problem with the missions portion of my game. Everytime I try to do any mission, nothing will load right on the game. The only thing that works is that it will put me at the correct airport, but that is it. The GPS will not load, my copilot will not talk on the radio, the tutorial will not run, the compass directing me to the next waypoint does not appear, NOTHING. Is there something I'm not doing? Please help!!

come on!! somebody's had to have this problem or can at least give me a suggestion. I'm about to throw this game out the window!!
