I notice when I approach an airport and I choose Idle it will NOT hold, The throttle keep on increasing then when I move it back to Idle it does the same, Is there anything I can do to keep Idle on hold until I land.

Do you by any chance have AUTO THROTTLE (A/T)on or (A/P)AUTO PILOT on? And what version of FS are you using? Any machine stats would also help.

Try switching off your Speed Hold Selector (Indicated Airspeed Hold Switch) before you move the thrust levers to idle.

I thought you're using the throttle quadrant in the cockpit. You have no flightstick I guess.

Try another twin jet such as the 737 and see what happens.

...or do a short flight without using the AP at all -- only hand flying. What happens?

The Learjet 45 will maintain the thrust setting previously used(by the Auto throttles) even after you deselect the IAS button. Manual thrust control will not occur until you move the thrust levers. The Learjet 45 idles at a high N1, I don't get less than 38 during a landing at idle. Smile
