What file do you use to make the video's? I make video's but can't figure out what file format to use or how to transfer them into my movie maker program.

i use fraps which creates avi's and then put them together.
My challenge is that they loose sooooo much quality when they show up in you tube.

any suggestions ?

I've never tried to make a video so I would wait for someone else to come along and help.

When my desktop is free'd up from the video that I got suckered into making for my wife's homework assignment I'll check to see what site I upload to. The quality of the playback is variable. I uploaded a video of me racing my motorcycle at the track twice, in one upload it was normal with minimal quality loss. In the second upload it looked like i was going about 500 mph...

And thanks for the video info

I don't really like youtube, probably because I'm not familiar with its format or setup. I normally use acidplanet.com, here's an example of one of the movies I did when I was screwing around one day at work http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?PID=792119&T=891 and http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?PID=701192&T=8744. Hopefully I linked that right, if not you can cut and paste. And before i upload it to the site I render it 100% as if I were getting ready to show it, it saves time with the up load and you lose less quality with the final product. If you view it in the window it pops up in the quality in my opinion is great for being a stream. But if you maximize the window, you may lose a little. I hope this helps.

Very Happy Big gun for a little lady, I use to enjoy plinking very much but the city moved further and further out so did the safe areas for shooting.

That's my wife when she got me that Benelli 12 gauge pump for my wedding gift and before I got her pregnant. I still enjoy plinking but she put the clamps on me getting that .308 I want until I mount a head on the wall... Anybody like wild boar?
