The answer to that question is also another question.

Would I have anything to say about FS if I weren't able to run FS?

Your screenies are difficult to view on a small screen. I figured that you're oblivious to this fact due to having gotten used to a larger wide screen yourself.

Regardless of my own plight, I'm sure there are still many other small monitor users who'd like to enjoy your screenies but give up after a while because you don't resize them.

And also the question I put yourself was misinterpretated by yourself, I thought that you were asking if you could join and fly with RAFv with a small screen monitor. I then misinterpretated your response and tried to post a witty comment lol, still serves me right Smile

I hope that this image is a more suitable size for all of the forum to enjoy, it depicts our Lead QFI (Qualified Flying Instructor) instructing two of our recruits at 1EFTS, RAF Cranwell. The aircraft shown is the Slingsby Firefly. We are encouraging pilots to become QFI's once they have gained the sufficient flying hours and skills required, then they must pass through a tough lengthy checkflight which can last up to 10 hours (in several flights). This ensures that all QFI's are experts and an excellent quality of pilots coming through the process are exceptionally well trained in all skills I ensure you that there is always something to be learned! Smile

Here you can see a 3 Squadron Eurofighter Typhoon F2 along side a Tornado F3, in the background you can also see two more CBY callsigns which are RAF Conningsby based Typhoons. You may also see COT callsigns for RAF Cottesmore Harrier Gr9's. This image was taken whilst on a training exercise, 3 Squadron and 111 Squadron are escorting the strike force of 1 Squadron and 9 Squadron.

And here are the boys from 78 Squadron delivering the much needed supplies to a small remote village.

And here are the boys from 78 Squadron "Busy Doing Nothing" Smile

Thanks Cool The Tornado - one of my favorite aircraft!
What am I saying... they're all my favorites.
Are you using DSB/IRIS?

We use the IRIS Tornado Gr.4 and the DSB Tornado F.3, they are both now freeware aircraft. We have made our own photrealistic panels and customised the VC on the Gr4 heavily. If you like flying them you might want to consider joining 9 Squadron, they fly the Gr.4 variant out of RAF Marham. Our resident scenery designer has produced one of the most detailed and frame rate friendly renditions I've seen yet.

Heres a picture of 9 Squadron on a training exercise, if you look closely you'll see two more "Tonka's" in battle separation formation.

I love those kind of operations - have had those Tornados for a while with stock panels though. Was about to join the other day when I stumbled over the Teamspeak hurdle. Wouldn't know where to start and Google gives me just a few too many answers. Couldn't find an e-mail contact adress at your site for enquiries/clarifications so came to the conclusion that your great organization might be a bit too advanced for me.

Nonsense lol, I suggest you join up to the forums first of all then fill in the application form. Then theres some easy to follow instructional video's and forums stickys to get you all set up. If you have any problems with any of this feel free to contact any of our Qualified Flying Instructors who's job is to do exactly that. Heres myne (REMOVE THE UNDERSCORE!, its so I dont get a spambot find it) r_obertkedar@hotmail.co.uk

Im glad you mentioned what you've had difficultys with I'll mention it in the fortnightly OC's meeting so that its easier for people to join.

Now back to screenshots Smile Here you can see a picture I took whilst on a strike mission in the Balkans, the aircraft seen are 1 Squadron Harrier Gr9's.

Glad to hear it I hope that you choose to join and stay (most do they get hooked Big Grin

Also you'll be happy to hear our IT team is now working on a brand new joining letter and making things much more user friendly.

Below is an image from one of our American pilots, the aircraft seen is a Lockheed Tristar L1011 in service with 216 squadron at RAF Brize Norton, these aircraft have almost a non military role, providing the only means of air transport for a civilian to the South Atlantic islands. However their destinations are in no way limited to the Atlantic theatre you'll see them in every continent flying their taskings.

Pictured here are two RAF Marham Tornado Gr4's from 9 squadron, if you look closely you'll see the CBLS pod which is usually an indication that they're on theyre way to a target range like RAF Spadeadam range which has been designed by our very own Paul Roberts.
