Plaese can anyone say how APR should be set up .
when eveer I use APR the aircraft lands short of the runway=

The APR (approach mode) will not land the aircraft for you, the ILS is designed to get you to a point from which you must be able to see the runway environment to land visually. One exception is auto land. Auto land is not part of any of the Flight Simulator default aircraft. You would have to install it as an add on or install a panel that has it built in. Some third party programs have auto land already incorporated into their panels.
