I was screwing around last night surfing the web and I ran into a web site that had some downloadable aircrafts. So, I got a BAE Systems T-45C Goshawk. This is the perfect trainer for jets!!! The plane comes equipped with a functional HUD, MFD panel, and radio stack. you can access many controls from the center console, even shut off the engine, fuel and master power!!! i found that out while flying and accidentally shut off the fuel to the engine and had to do a hot start before i smacked the ground!! For those who want to practice on jets or perfecting your skills, this is the jet to get!!
I forgot where I got the file (its freeware)and I don't want to get in any hassles with anyone, so if upload this aircraft, just make it a anonymous author.
I also picked up a F-4 Phantom, B-58 Hustler, a F-117 Nighthawk, and a B-1B Lancer. Rodney J.

is it the one that has blue angels texture and the the other textures come loaded and clean? when i went to check the one i have for the file i.d., i noticed they seem to disapear when you install the model. i never noticed that before. if that is the one, it is nice, but my 2 favs so far are the tomcat i recently "aquired" and the raptor. |

You might be right....because as soon as I opened up all the variants, the Blue Angels scheme came up. but the models are shown. Try getting the file I uploaded. Rodney J.

Gentlemen, you'll have to get out a bit more:
Tailhook wrote:How about a trade Welshflyer, are you a bartering man?
I didn't want to mess up your Around the World with the US Navy! topic too much and since this has to do with tailhook equipped a/c, namely the Goshawk in 'Blue Angels' livery, I thought I post it here.
Let me explain: I'd been flying the Goshawk but got annoyed with the sinking nose wheel and the fact that I hadn't put the CAT Arm gauge into the panel yet. After having had a closer look at your screenies I realised that we have the same panel ...and lo and behold ... the same aircraft. I didn't even know I had the 'Blue Angels' livery.
I'll trade you my aircraft.cfg for your panel.cfg -- look at the nose wheel:
Before:
After:
...deal? It's called 'Sharing the workload' I think

If you're interested in more, there's a whole loooong thread: http://flyawaysimulation.com/forum/topic/25872/carrier-pack/
In case you're wondering, Rob Barendregt has updated his gauges pack for FSX: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=&Name=&FileName=rcbco-30.zip&Author=&CatID=root
All you need now is a decent carrier with a hard deck and... perhaps a pilot to show you the ropes |
