Hi, just got a new laptop. Vista with Dual core and a 8600 M GT.
Thought it would be great.
But CFS3 did not even start?!?!?! Not even the config!!
What can I do????

Right click on the desktop icon and see if they have a choice to run it under a different OS.

things are easy if you are one of the enlighted ones!!!

Worked great in XP compatibility!!

.... but why the hack do they sell this fancy new system if everything only runs in old modes???????

Glad you have it working now.
That was built on a different engine, time marches on.
At least they give you the chance to run it under a sub system.
Think about all those old DOS games I have in the closet.
