2 seater flying??

I am looking around but do not see any indication that this is possible. What I want to do is fly with my girlfriend IN the same plane on our LAN. We already know how to connect to each other's computer and fly say for example separate Cessnas... but is there a way in MS FS 2004 that two people on different computers can occupy the SAME aircraft, and trade off as pilots?
