I NEED HELP AND XANEX!!

First off, great forum. Second off, I have a GEforce FX 5200. FS9 runs good when i'm on the ground, but when I get to a certain altitude, my game freezes up, then runs for a second, freezes up then runs again. Its driving me crazy!! When I try a spot veiw or any veiw other than the cockpit, it starts doing this crap. How do I solve this. Thanks.

That's a very old card.
There are much better AGP cards for little money.
You'll be much happier with a new one.
If you go back a few years in search of the 2004 general forum you'll find a dozen stories like yours.

I know that it is old, so is my computer, but I'm doing the best that I can with what I got, ya know.

With that said, do you have any suggestions off the top of your head?

As to a new card.
The best to do is feed AGP cards into Goggle and see the price range, buy what you can afford after researching it.

I use ATi so I can't help with NVIDIA but check with the other members and see what they have. You can't use PCIe just AGP, you don't want old PCI cards.
