I can install aircraft without problems but scenery impossible. I have MS 2004 and try to install into the add on scenery library but nothing ever appears in the library. Can anyone explain in simple terms just how to install Scenery in MS flight simulator 2004. Please.[/b]

Print it out and follow it slowly step by step. That's the way I first did it.

1. Extract the zip into your main FS2004 Addon Scenery folder, or into a temporary folder, and then move it there, which ever method you prefer.
I use the temp and drag and drop.

2. Start up FS2004 and when the welcome screen, or initial menu comes on, select settings, then click on Scenery Library, and Add Area. Find the Addon Scenery folder and open it, then find the XXXX folder and click on it. The name XXXX should now appear in the title window, then click OK. Then you will see XXXX at the top of your scenery library list, and click the OK tab at the bottom.

3. That's it! You must first exit FS2004, and when you restart it your scenery will be there. It is not necessary to use the Addon Scenery option to locate this scenery, simply go to the airport in FS.

Thank you, I have printed your instructions and am now re-installing the game as it may have got in a mess due to my efforts during this last couple of weeks of trying. I'm an old man and may be a bit brain dead.
I did nearly twenty years of hang-gliding and microlight flying and now this is the only way I can fly. Thanks again. dennisrichards2@tiscali.co.uk

I just don't like your remark about the age and the brain condition in the same sentence. Confused I am sure that my age some where around your ageX1.4 and my wife telling me that I am still OK and not for my money(She has it all ready) Sad

I don't know how old is old? I am a professional guy, with a stable business and a job.......but I know one thing all my life I wanted to be a pilot and this is the only way available to me now, I am so happy that I am doing this sim.....it sure took a lot out of the feelings of guilt and regret of making all the wrong choices when it came to select a career.

Don’t be sorry for “wrong” turns in your life. You never know how would u ended up if you would become a pilot. Half of the members here dreaming about childhood fantasizes. I by myself wanted be a pilot and ended up serving half of my life in the….anti aircraft missile system. Now at age of 67 I am looking back and smiling about those dreams. I really don’t know how old r u but still u have your stable life something a lot of pilot (in my country any how) can’t say and I am not pointing to the word “stable” . Cheers!

I know U from the web for some time and I found u one of best nature poster in the forum so there is no way i will offended by u. U could see that I am joking as I am all ways joking when age matter mentioned. (No more I can do about) The wrong turns was not for U. If we are talking about "age problem" I have a good story for u with that story U will be able evaluate your status. Just this story not for the forum so I will try to send it 2 u as privet message.
