It looks decent for the money. I don't think a system exists that runs FSX with NO hiccups. I would look at a video card that has more than 256mb however. As far as CPU's go, that one seems a little low on the clock speed and I didn't see exactly which quadcore it was. Considering that FSX is a huge CPU hog this should be your first priority. If you can afford it, get a qx6700 or qx6800. The 6800 comes out of the factory at 2.93 ghz I believe. I have a stable OC at 3.47 ghz at the moment on my qx6800. There's also 6850's also now too but it's debatable whether it's worth the extra money. Good luck.

I think you have no idea what you are talking about faust1200.Trust me ,I'm a computer hardware specialist.

First thing that I don't like about this computer is the VideoCard ,which is the most important thing in FSX. 8300GS is a piece of junk.People just seems to look at the memory size ,well there are many more factors like clock speeds,shaders,pipelines,memory bandwidth ,you name it...
so that 8300GS no faster than 7600GS. You should at least have 7800GT/X1800XL to play FSX at medium settings. Memory is fine 2Gb is enough.The CPU is OK too but I'm not sure if FSX supports quad CPUs ,if not you should get something else .And about that CPU clock speed Mr.faust1200,Quad CPUs don't need to have 4Ghz per core.That Q6600 has 8mb of catch and is running at 2.4Ghz, that is enough to catch a Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 (2.66GHz).

So with this rig you could probably run FSX at low medium setting and get about 20-35FPS.
AMD64 X2 5000+ , Asus HD3850 512MB @ 755Mhz/925Mhz, 2GB OCZ DDR2-800 , Seagate Barracuda 320GB SATA ,Biostar TF560 AM2/AM2+ , Antec TrueBlue 2.0 480W , Sound Blaster Audigy SE <=== FSX Killer .

Ok Mr. Specialist - FSX does support quad cores. Yeah, me telling him to go with a fast CPU is waaay offbase. You really took me to school.

Here is a good rule of thumb: Never trust someone who says "trust me."

I would pretty much agree. that video card will be a major disapointment; it's junk as far as FSX is concerned.
the Q6600 quad is a beast. (The best thing about this system) in my opinion.

In order to sell these cheap, they will certainly put a cheapo junk Power supply and a bare bones motherboard with almost zero for features.
