Looks like no one has an answer.....I had the same question.
I can never stay connected to GameSpy...I keep getting the " You were disconnected because you connected from another location"...which is Bull. I am sick of trying to get on a multiplayer game there.........there must be somewhere else. RandyOldgeek

I am already a part of the VA....I was in the Air Force for 4 years, so that makes me part of the VA......but seriously. I have no idea what a VA is....but I did discover http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/3150/fshost/ and got a host setup with a friend...after working on it most of the night....and we got www.teamspeak.com to work...so we don't have to depend on that darn GameSpy any longer.
So if anyone needs any help with figuring out Chocolate Software or TeamSpeak....PM me....I will help you out as much as I can. RandyOldgeek

VA is Virtual Airlines.. Do a google search, and you'll see tons of them. There's even a Virtual United States Air Force. VUSAF for short.

WOW...I had no idea there was such a thing. I see what you mean...so the next question is....how do you find a good....active one? It would be impossible to try every one of them....they all sound good?
Thanks. RandyOldgeek

It's trial and error. You can probably find one in the VA forum, here on Flyawaysimulation. |

I fly with American Flight Airways (AFA)... and they are very active. We have people flying eveyday, events on VATSIM, and lots of other stuff. The New York Yankees... not northern people. |

Hey Air Force
I was a Crew Chief on a C-130 ('65-'69)
Try this server - http://www.realworldatc.com/
The guys are laid back and friendly. They are spread out in Europe, USA and TEXAS! There are those that will help you set-up and if you want - instruction for the Pilot and/or Controller.
I am a member of four online groups and they're great, but I choose to fly with RW ex-Marines, ex-ATC, ex-Pilots, and current Pilots at RWATC. Great Fun!

Hey Y'all
I was a Crew Member on a AWACS ('79-'82)
Try this server - http://FlightSimPortal.net it is the successor of http://www.realworldatc.com/
The guys are still laid back and friendly. They are spread out in Europe, USA and TEXAS! You will still get instruction for the Pilot and/or Controller, as well as assistance with your set-up and if you want - they even host an Airline Management Website for active airlines (with flightplans and all - based on phpVMS). All that service is free of charge.
Just contact ceo@flightsimportal.net to get more info or visit their website.

Do you need a network for your pilots to fly on?
Having trouble with green ping connections and hosting a gamespy session?
Look no Further.
Find GoAir's DEDICATED 24/7 SERVER: "BIRMINGHAM INTL"
You are welcome to use this network as your own aslong as rules are obided by.
Software used in this session
See you in the skies |

Guys you all need to check BVA. www.bostonvirtualatc.com It is the best server out there and the most realistic. You have to write tests and they will conduct check rides with you at times. The ATC is amazing and they are constantly training people and working to make this the best site out there. CHECK IT OUT. You will never look back.

I fully agree with Greg about Boston Virtual ATC. I am flying with them most of the evenings for last two years, serious ATC with great pilots to fly with. If you join say hello to me if you see me at Boston Airport , i fly Mooney N181P. |
