is there an aircraft with enough range to cross the ocean, new york to paris, but is a small passenger plane? what i would like is something about the size of the CRJ except maybe a little smaller, and if possible, a turbo or piston prop engine. jets are not out of the question just not my 1st choice.

Use a world map (lay out the distances) and hop across the north Atlantic. You should be able to do that in a small jet.

i know i could hop across the north atlantic, like going out of nova scotia but i want to go straight across. the gulf stream and falcon are ok for jets, but i don't really want to fly a bomber i was hoping for a passenger plane sorta like an atr or a dash 8 but with alot more range. i suppose it doesn't exist because it wouldn't be very economical.

I don't think there is one that has the range you're asking for.

You could try a Learjet 45 or a Citation X would do it I belive.
