Hi i was looking at the Terms and conditions today and came across this part:
PAYMENT:
Payment for your 'Fly Away Simulation Lifetime Membership' is handled by Paypal Inc. Cards accepted include Visa, Mastercard, Discover Novus, Amex, Switch, Solo and many other non-standard card types. Security for your payment, and security of your payment details is Paypal Inc's responsibility, and their privacy statement and terms can be found here.
SERVICE PAID FOR:
Upon signing up for a 'Fly Away Simulation Lifetime Membership', you are paying for the use and bandwidth of the Fly Away server that is used to transit any resources such as images, text, files to your computer. You are not paying for the download works of developers which created the files; they are freeware which are also available on many other internet resource sites.
It was this part witch catched my eye: Upon signing up for a 'Fly Away Simulation Lifetime Membership', you are
My paypal is paying flyaway $5 a month witch there it says lifetime
But please don't get my wrong i love flyaway and i dont mind paying $5 a month where to me thats about £2.45 i fink i dunno but anyway i don't mind.
I just wished to bring it up if this is a error or and old thing just never changed.

It's been a mystery to me ever since it was mentioned for the first time. When I and many others joined the spiel was 5$ for a lifetime membership.
Then I 'heard' that new members have to pay 5$ each month. I thought that was a bit odd. But opinions regarding the truth of this rumor seemed never to have been cleared up completely.
Transparency regarding the official policy would be nice, I agree. |

Flyaway probably just never changed it, and like TailHook said, Back when i joined and even before that, we only had to pay $5 and that was that, we were members for life. Now Flyaway is charging anyone new that comes $5 a month.

it's all smoke and mirrors. try this and see if i am wrong. if i am, you can always re-join if you like.
1)subscribe for a month
2)have paypal cancel your payments.
3) check and see, you will probably still have access to everything you did when you were paying. |

It's ironic how the rules of joining the forums stipulate to refrain from posting messages of a sexual, religious or political nature.
Yet the boards are run in a typical political fashion: No transparency at all. |

Fred was wierd.... wonder what is doing now?

I know as much as you about the payment schedule.
I just mod here, all strictly volunteer, no pay, gifts, discounts etc.
