I vote Pratt & Whitney, they know how to make a plane smoke like a 707 with modern technology and making a effecient engine Very Happy

way back in the day, in auto shop i disassembled a slant 6 engine with over 100,000 miles on it. i was surprised to find perfectly useable bearings holding the crank and still showing the tiniest bit of cross-hatch pattern in a couple of the cylinders. the engine was out of a donated car (wrecked) but could easily have powered someone's vehicle for a long time without further maintanence.
