I understand plagiarism, but we ppl cant judge ppl, i understand he wanted to show off "his" good ss. So guys, lets just forget about it, and start in a fresh page, its annoying me come to these forums and we are still talking about this for the whole week.

It really doesn't matter, it's just pictures. Let's drop this now before it becomes a huge fight over nothing. We've been through a similar thing before with another member. We don't need people trying to rally others against bran09, no rule was broken and no crime committed. |

KKKKKKKKK, if you guys dont know what plagiarism is then here the deffiniition: "Stolen work by others", means, everything that the author of a project, essay, newspaper article quots, pictures and so on... and some one else compies the same quote from article, picture w/e work means plagiarism. Bran09 plagirised with other works from flightsimworld.com. |

No one is getting paid to make screen shots, a screen shot is not work. We are a club and a community. If someone hears a joke and then repeats it as there own, unless you tell jokes for money, no big deal. The same with screen shots, photos or signatures. Plagiarism laws pertain to work not things that you put out in public for free. There are no rules against plagiarism on this forum. I'm not saying it's right just to lighten up people, it's not a big deal.

i agree who ever flamed bran09 for posting screen shots that were not his has absuletly no life and has nothing better to do than go on the internet and flame people for stupid things |

okay guys yes its been over a week i been suspended from the flgithsimworld forums for 7 days and thats it now ive been posting screenshots and people like cheeks and bawls wich they are my pics that i edited my self say its spam and annoying sorry i like to post screenshots 
so Bawls i think you have no life cause thats all you do now is bash me around and for christ sake its a dam picture thats is to edit and stufff somestuff is not some is and i am DONE WITH EDITING NOW BECAUSE THE GUYS ON FORUMS ARE GETTING Mad so im done with editing for now intal people start saying to my pics oh its good or oh its bad and be a nice gentleman thats all i have to say!

I dont reall care if you stop your editing, but next time look AT THE TITLE its not like I found this on my own someone pmed me to post this here and its not like I did it today either. Bran read when the topic was posted not the day later when I already forgot about it and just started posting reg. on your topics.

Whether or not something has been made available for free, the 'ethic' principle of plagiarism still applies, especially when a picture or screenshot, call it what you will, has been water marked. The notion that screenshots are not work can only come from someone who has little or no experience in this field.
Intellectual Property is what we are talking about, right?
We are a bunch of hypocrites if we cry Wolf, Wolf and start pointing fingers when greedy Record Companies drag some teenager before the courts in the name of Justice, Anti piracy and above all the "Intellectual Property of the Artist"... yeah, right. They couldn't give a rats  about someone else's property, let alone 'Intellectual Property'.
But when the Intellectual Property of a hobbyist gets violated we nod our head in acquiescence just because there is 'no law against it' and the poor sod has no huge corporation behind him.
To continue mollycoddling the brats who post nothing but rubbish AND violate the 'Intellectual Property' of others is asking for trouble and serves NO-ONE. |

I have absolutely no experience in this field but more importantly...I don't care, anything I see here could have come from someone else. Does it matter enough to argue...No.
Oh, If we want to worry about the property of others, the cute signature and avatar pictures are the property of the artist(movie studio). Unless you have written permission for its use, you are as guilty as Bran09 of stealing Intellectual property and ethics violation. Just like the screen shot, it's no big deal.

ok I agree with crj capt. Now can we please just lock this thread. I posted this when the big fight was going on, now here are people making remarks about me days later and remarks about bran. I tried to get on but alot of people bring it back up and then I fight back. Jesus someone just lock the thread so no one has to deal with this crap. |
