But of course!
You did not know it did that??? Why do you think the Navy and Marines are interested in it? Especially the Marines.... I mean... Harrier... this would be the next generation!
Sweet plane too. Have yet to see a good version of it in FS9 but sweet plane. US AIR TALES- Stories of one man's virtual life as a pilot |

as i sat there watching the movie with my step son, i couldn't help thinking, "c'mon, you mean to tell me i'm supposed to believe a well trained pilot in the most sophisticated fighter jet in the armed forces can't blow up bruce willis in a truck, but can down other super sonic aircraft that aren't even in visual range? pullleeeezzz"
otherwise, i really liked the movie and especially enjoyed watching the scenes with the raptor, even if they were kinda far-fetched. |

The first thing you do is open a FREE account with www.photobucket.com
Once you've done that, you can upload your pics to photobucket and then paste the Image Code of the pic you want to add to to your post into the message. Done. |

maybe this won't win me any popularity contests but exactly what it is i object to is seeing my Lord's name used in vain. i don't see anybody
mis-using/abusing buhdda or allah or vishnu or zeus or any of the other
(notice the use of lower case g) gods. you don't see me going around posting what i think of any other religion, nor do i poke fun at those here who claim to be agnostic or athiest. but all of a sudden i start to see these posts that say that in it and i don't like it. i don't see it as neccessary. i don't see how in anyway it enhances the conversation one iota. i know if i had made a derogetory comment towards any other religion/creed many of the folks here would be quick to be offended or at least in an awful hurry to find fault in it. i don't think it's too much to ask that people use the intellect they were born with and make use of better ways of self expression than to allow themselves to wallow in that which is banal, common, dull witted, and entirely without any redeeming quality what so ever. |

Or Goddesses for that matter...
This may strike you as odd, but for a Mother Earth loving Wiccan such as myself, even I do not use ANY god's name in vain...

All the words that were used in the above posts are in the dictionary, are being used daily in the media, newspapers, movies and TV... I don't know what you're getting so worked up about.

One would think you're being chased by the Devil
because words and concepts are used by the media is no yardstick for quality, intelligence or decency. the phrase i am clearly reffering to is not something you will find being used on the news, or in a newspaper nor will you find it used on tv during prime-time on network television. i would further argue that if it's not something a 10 yr old could say to their mother it is not considered to be something spoken in an intelligent genteel conversation.
i'm disapointed that you choose to defend deplorable habits of speech and in the same turn choose to make light of my beliefs. i further interpret your closing statement to be a jab at me personally (juvenile) and frankly find that to be quite a surprise. i never expected that sort of behavior from you of all the people on this board.
if these things are to be considered acceptable here at flyaway, so be it.
it's not my forum, i don't have the final say. i wish you all the best. |

http://pixeltendo.net/index.php?showtopic=2128&st=20 <- That thread in PixelTendo has an argument of if saying "OMG" or whatever is using god's name in vain. Well I'm not sure if it clears things up, but i guess you should read it. I'm also pretty sure that you will notice that the people there are complete dicks. |
