Read these over and see what helps:
http://flyawaysimulation.com/forum/topic/4519/system-crash-and-cfs3/
**********************
Q. CFS3 crashes when I exit quick missions, and sometimes freezes after I crash an aircraft.
A. Delete the Uisel.xml file in the following directories:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Combat Flight Simulator 3.0.
Then check if you have the following directory in your Combat Flight Simulator 3 directory:
WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Combat Flight Simulator 3.0
If this directory exists delete the Uisel.xml file there as well.
CFS 3 will generate a new updated file when you restart the game. This will solve

Radar Man
Thanks for your help.
There is no error message, the system just freezes, have to re-boot the computer, restart the CFS3 goes straight into 'troublshooting crashing issues.
Re start CFS3 plays for a few mins then freezes again.
Repeat all above.
They suggest in the 13 page troubleshooting run msconfig.
now i dont know what to do, just got rid of all fsx stuff as well.
Regards

Did you try it without the patch.
Is it patched.
Is the computer case clean of all dust (overheating), you have to do this often.
Are you using the no-cd crack, if not do.

XP is XP, it doesn't matter how much memory (as long as it's not to little).
Since your not playing on line disable your anti virus (not the firewall ever) and see how the game does.
You should see how many programs are running in the background, they may be starting up and shutting you down.
I'm in the US, 7 hours different than you.
