Wicked Shocked

No wonder the poor pilot got confused, according to the article: "...the pilot aborted takeoff after he noticed a warning light go off..."

According to the news reader(ess?), a warning light "...came on..." Fear

I'm scared to get back into the cockpit now, not knowing whether those warning lights should go off or come on... is there a thumb of rule?

Tailhook be thankful you do not have to deal with ppl from Philadelphia every day....

They consider turning on a light cutting it on...

If we suspend their phone sevice we cut the phone off.

If they do not have call waiting or three way calling it is considered a "one way phone" (to which my response is always... do you listen or talk on your phone.... which is always met with a resounding ummmmmm.)

Call waiting by the way constitutes a "2 way phone"

3 way is of course self explanatory.

When the phone rings it goes off... and apparently so can some of these guys' wives when they find 1 900 calls on their bills.

And older Philadelphians like to come on to the phone guy. Like I need ANY dating help from geriatrics...

and heaven help you if you plug out their phone.....

English... what a stupid language haha.

Oh boy... oh boy... gibber-gabber. That's why I've been lobbying for the English language to be banned. Isn't it the most widely spoken language after Chinese? ...yet nobody knows what the other person is saying

The only thing I understood was ménage à trois

That's over-simplifying things a bit... don't you think?
'Cheating' is what you do in competitions and politics...

Exactly my point..... it's Philadelphia... home of the bottom half of Pennsylvania's IQ. I blame close proximity to New Jersey...

(No offense to anyone who HAS to live there, but you gotta know what I am talking about... )

Things are starting to make sense... I hear Obama is taking a short break from campaigning -- he might need all the energy he can muster if all the lovely things you said about the good people of the great state of Pennsylvania are true... next stop on his itinerary: PA Big Grin
