I Never had fligh sim 9 i only had fs2000 and i did not add any textures to that so i am bit clueless with it all lol

Just put the folder with the texture in the aircraft you are adding with, then open the aircraf.cfg and paste a note you see in readme replace the *flightsim xx* with *flightsim 8* or whatever is next in line- it will say in .cfg
