User Status: Offline Fix?

We think we have found a fix to the User Status: Offline problem. After some research, we have found that this problem occurs when users click on the activation link and login from a hotmail session. When a user recives the activation email with a hotmail account, the user should COPY the link into a new browser window and do it that way instead of just directly clicking on the link.

Please try this and post feedback here.
