but i can provide a little better explination of my problem.

when i am in the VC, and i start pulling up systems (radio stack, throttle quadrant etc) if i bring those items up and roll my mouse over them as if i am going to adjust something on them, the game goes to a load screen for a split second. its like the game is having a seizure. this happened to me on my last computer, with a different copy of FSX all together so i dont think its the system. i have a custom built gaming system running duo core with a gtx 260 graphics card and 8 GIGs of RAM.

i have tried the DX10 and both ways its still doing it.

PLEASE HELP this is seriously ruining my gaming hobby and its particularly annoying when i am shooting an instrument approach and am running through a bunch of systems and identing my frequencies.

Try going into settings and uncheck "show cockpit tooltips".

Also opening that many "Windows" with only a 256mb card is pushing it to the limit, maybe beyond.

This card has 896 MB ➡

You're running Vista 64 bit -- the drivers could well be the issue. You don't seem to have responded to Accelor's advice:

https://forum.flyawaysimulation.com/forum/topic/34787/need-help-with-graphics-lag-problem/

The person(s) who put together your system might have loaded the 32 bit drivers, it happens. There's a possibility that they've loaded the correct drivers but they're already obsolete seeing the card was released in January.

You can get the latest drivers here:

Is this "seizure" a white out for 2 or 3 seconds? If so, I've been seeing it ever since installing FSX sp2. 😞 It's a glitch I work around by not calling up sub panels since that's where it happens. Just use mouse hot spots in virtual cockpit (VC), don't use called up sub panels. 🙂

Welcome to the club buddy - my suggestion was that of Radarman's. It's a bug that you'll have to live with. No updates now that the operation has gone bust.
