MetroAir Releases FSX Compatible Fleet

Rolmulus, MI – April 2, 2009 - During the course of the last year, MetroAir management became aware of the growing number of seasoned and new pilots making the switch from FS9 to FSX . Conscious of the fact that many prospective pilots turned away when they discovered we weren't fully FSX compatible, management knew action had to be taken to return us to our position as the premier destination for pilots in the community.

Following discussions, the decision was taken to re-establish the Beta Testing team and under the guidance of VP of Operations, Lindle Romero, we began the long hard process of converting and testing our fleet for FSX. After months of testing, tweaking and more testing, the Beta Testing team were happy with the end result and signed off on the FSX conversion project.

The management and staff of MetroAir are pleased to announce that from today our pilots will have access to our fully FSX compatible fleet. As you would expect with MetroAir, we have endeavored to exceed the expectations of our members and make the switch as painless as possible.

As such, each FSX aircraft has the following features.

*Fully automated installer.
*Pre-installed freeware panels (where available).
*Pre-installed freeware sound sets (where available).
*All the model detail and features experienced with FS9.
*Quality textures and liveries by our own Tom Collins.
*Custom FSX external camera definitions for all aircraft.
*Jetway and cargo positions defined on jet aircraft for built in FSX ground service.
*Realistic FDE's based on manufacturer specifications and professional feedback.

The management and staff of MetroAir would like to thank our Beta Testers for all their efforts and hard work over the last couple months. We are extremely proud of the work they have delivered and know that all our pilots will benefit from today's announcement.
