/IPG VIRTUAL AIRLINES/ - LOS ANGELES, Calif. Mar. 16
IPG Virtual is firmly supporting the fight against cancer. This vigilant effort has come about after one of the Senior Executive Staff Members of IPG Virtual has been diagnosed with Cancer, and this effort is now culminating in the airline's search for an important philanthropic program to support. The program will be overseen by Mrs. Sarah Monroe, the Director of Public Relations for IPG Virtual.
In an effort to visualize this support IPG is proud to unveil its "Fight Cancer" livery with the ideal that IPG Fights Cancer... Because We Fight for Our Own!
In additional to the private support to our member, we will be seeking out an opportunity to provide contributions to a National Cancer Awareness Foundation (to which no one specific program has been named yet).
"Considering the importance of each member is to our airline family, we thought this would be an appropriate way for our pilots to feel like they are a part of something positive... something greater than a mere point a to b flight on a computer" explained Bill Monroe, President of IPG Virtual.
Following the recent merger of Island Pacific Virtual and Oasis Virtual, the new resulting airline IPG Virtual has dedicated to take "corporate responsibility" not only investing in the future of the airline, but also in the future and well being of its pilots.
"Many of us have lost family and close personal friends to Cancer over the years, and almost everyone knows someone who has been affected by Cancer..." company Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Pope explains "...This program aims to help increase awareness within all of the flight simulator community, that cancer is amongst us all... and also to hopefully serve as a small memorial to those we have lost."
