I recently got Flight1's FSX ATR 72-500 and i noticed the VC rain isn't working, i have tried a lot of stuff but nothing works.
And the flight1 ATR-72 does feature very good VC rain fx, so i don't know why it isn't working, probly cause of fsx but idk.

Any help is appreciated
thanks

It's kinda ridiculous how long it takes to get a reply around here

FYI the ATR 72-500 is not an FSX native aircraft but merely an update (from FS9). I'll venture an educated guess: Those who own the original (FS9 version) would not buy an updated FSX version -- pay for an update perhaps but not buy the full a/c.
There will always be bugs with non-native FSX a/c, it's just how the cookie crumbles. If I were you, I'd sign up to the appropriate forums

http://atr.flight1.net/forums/

I have the original (FS9) ATR 72-500 but trying to troubleshoot a spruced up version for FSX would be like trying to pull teeth out of a mosquitoes mouth. I have a feeling that my opinion is shared by many who have had the pleasure of experiencing FS9, then been sucked in by the FSX WOW factor and finally taken their medicine and landed back on solid ground.

In a nutshell, your ATR 72-500 (updated for FSX tastes) represents a niche market. You are the proud and quite possibly the only owner of this product here at Flyaway hence no replies to your query.
