Well, after many problems downloading the abacus 787, i installed it, its cool but bad frame rates and the head seems to be a mixture of 767 A320 737........ Whats worse is that the airspeed shows 0, even if i press w, its a bug i think, not even trying to turn on pilot heat worked .
Well with BIRK's short runway, bad frames, IAS broken, its gonna be not easy.......
get as much rwy as i can:
Parking brakes and...FULL THRUST:
as u can see, the speed don't work, i have to look at GPS for Ground Speed:
NOOO, I landed on the wrong runway
after doing many bad truns(50 bank angle?) and G force so much and nearly crashing on top of buildings and blowing off people's hamburgers, and fish i landed
I know the plane is horrible(an cessna mix R/C plane sound) but its cool COMMENTS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS: those people got mad We have reached our cruising altitude,I am going to switch the seat belt sign off. Feel free to move about as you wish, but please stay inside the plane till we land ... it's a bit cold outside, and if you walk on the wings it affects the flight pattern. |

I have one comment.
The best 787 (which used to be called the 7E7 hence difficulties in finding it) is still the Robert Versluys' model with textures by Dirk Kiefer.
Obviously nobody in the community knows how realistic the flight dynamics are since it's not even in operation yet.
Robert Versluys has also made the best freeware A-380s to date - nice textures by Dirk are also available.
For the 787 http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/884/fs2004-all-nippon-airways-ana-boeing-7e7-787/ |

Hm, i'll give the 787 a miss for now untill a decent one is available after it has actually flown. Just a little info for you, it's actually PITOT heat as in the pitot tubes that measure pressure and airspeed etc . |

thanks, I have a 7E7 but is that by Robert Versluys? I like it and its frame rate very good, i plan to buy it with fspassengers. I am talking about this one i have: http://flyawaysimulation.com/images/media/7754/ana-787/
downloaded from here: http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/884/fs2004-all-nippon-airways-ana-boeing-7e7-787/ is that his 7E7??
PS: I tried his A380 it was horrible, the plane bouces up and down when taxiing and unboarding at KPHL and made Fspassenger think that I was landing, so it said i opened the door in flight..what! plane was unboarding! So his 7E7 is much better than his A380, but his A380 is still good We have reached our cruising altitude,I am going to switch the seat belt sign off. Feel free to move about as you wish, but please stay inside the plane till we land ... it's a bit cold outside, and if you walk on the wings it affects the flight pattern. |

What about the v1 vr v2 speeds, does anyone know them? cause it says its 95 then you takeoff, what??????!
PS: I truned on PITOT heat, none of the things worked, its a bug i think We have reached our cruising altitude,I am going to switch the seat belt sign off. Click on the link you provided again and read the following:
Additional Download Details
Author: Robert Versluys

Compatibility: FS2004
Filename: b7e78ana.zip
Filesize: 918.95 Kb
Now whether those details actually represent the truth I don't know. Anyone can upload anything and make claims. I assume your Versluys A-380 behaved erratically because you downloaded it from a dodgy file library.
I wouldn't tell you it's a good model if it weren't so. FYI, some guys have retrofitted this A-380 with soundset and panel and from memory other goodies - I think it's in Scandinavian livery, though any texture by Dirk Kiefer can be added of course.
As you seem to be reluctant to download from AVSIM and I presume flightsim I won't bother looking for a link or filename. |

The V1 and V2 speeds are calculated according to the weight of the aircraft so will vary, the pitot heat does just what it says on the tin, it heats the pitot tubes to stop them iceing up to give accurate readings (i think ) . e.g:-
V1! No aborted TakeOff possible any longer, we will be going...
Vr! normal rotating speed
V2! Safe operation speed, minimum safe flying speed
Any questions please direct to someone who knows what they are talking about ! |

But i am still getting 0 on my speed after pitot heat was on, all i can do is to look at the GPS for the ground speed, or look at the mach speed
means i can't do long flights . even after i look at the Shift Z speed its 0 .
And Tailhook, I think that is his cause i downloaded another one of his and its the same as this(the model, panel, even the description is almost the same)! We have reached our cruising altitude,I am going to switch the seat belt sign off.
