no .air file

I have downloaded some aircraft for FS2004 but find I can't install them!! I am told that the .air file is corrupt or not there! Ant ideas

Download a comparable aircraft and use their air file.

If you are running Vista or W7 that do it as administrator, that may be the "corruption" problem.

Thanks for your reply I have already tried using another 'pucka' aircraft .air file but still no good!! Your point about administrator may be valid I will give it a try, but I am using XP (service pack 3) so I am not sure. Thanks for your help I appreciate it!

Thanks for the comment about the .air file. Can you offer more info. on the admin option for getting past this error message? Thanks.

Right click on the icon, you'll see the administrator option.
