I am looking for ways to improve my desktop flight sim configuration. I am looking for possible sites that can assist me. I don't want to spend the kind of money on the sim improvements I can use to pay for actual flight lessons! For example, I am looking to find ways to stop my chair from sliding away from my pedals. Reconfiguring my yoke and throttles would also help. What kinds of key words would I put in to get the best results? Flight Simulator and Flight Sim and Home Made Sim are not giving me the results I want.

Any suggestions with key words would be greatly appreciated.
