No Cockpit And Can't Use Repaints

No Cockpit:

Some of my planes that I've downloaded have no cockpit and I see comments on how well they did the cockpit. I'm experiencing this issue in all of my A380s.

Can't Use Repaints:

I can download them and I understand the instructions, but it won't let me open the cgf file. It tries to make me select a program to run it with.
