That's a good one for help. But I can't seem to open my cfg file. Everytime I click on it it takes me to windows photo gallery where it says file cannot be opened.

Hi Harry, once you have entered the new repaint info just say yes when it asks you to save the changes. Smile

Ahh for some reason I am unable to get this right. When I try to save it says it was denied. And when I try to to open up the cfg file on my flyable md83 on notepad. The only thing it says on the pad is models=md83. Then nothing.

Are you sure you're opening the correct file?

The name is aircraft.cfg

Right-click on it and select Open with... Notepad.

Once you've opened it, this is what you'll see:

[fltsim.0]
title=McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing MD-83
sim=MD_83
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=
kb_checklists=MD_83_check
kb_reference=MD_83_ref
atc_id=N700MS
atc_id_color=0xffffffff
atc_airline=Soar
atc_flight_number=1123
ui_manufacturer="McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing"
ui_type="MD-83"
ui_variation="Soar Airlines"
ui_typerole="Commercial Airliner"
ui_createdby="Microsoft Corporation"

[fltsim.1]
title=McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing MD-83 Paint1
sim=MD_83
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=1
kb_checklists=MD_83_check

etc...

Once you've made your changes do what Welshflyer said above.
